 Hi, friend! Tory here!

Last month, I was tossing and turning because my skin hasn’t been happy with me and, to be honest, I couldn’t figure out why! Long story short, I ended up making a list of reasons why my skin could be freaking out. Is it a product or is it my lifestyle, stress maybe? Who knows! That's why I needed a list! Turns out, once I changed these 4 things, my skin went back to its normal state and the breakouts around my face were able to heal. Today, I wanted to share these reminders with all of you! So, here they are~

Tory’s 4 Habits for Clearer Skin:

Wash bed sheets and pillowcases often

Okay, I get it. This may seem like a no brainer, but hey I forget sometimes! And usually, it doesn’t happen until Bun Bun scolds me D: Now, I'm getting better at remembering to wash my sheets and pillowcases regularly. Typically, they say to wash them once every 2 weeks, but since I have slightly oily hair, I like to wash my sheets once a week just to be sure!

Clean your phone regularly

Also something I forget to do! Think about it, we use our phone so often. The surface is probably filled with bacteria D: Don't forget to take a moment every day to disinfect the surface of your phone! I like taking a small alcohol pad and swiping it all over my phone to ensure it is squeaky clean!

Don’t pick at your face

Okay, so I’m super guilty for partaking in this bad habit. I tend to touch my face a lot. It happens the most when I’m stressed! But recently I've been pretty good at catching myself before it happens. My face is now a lot less irritated than normal! Main point: No touchy! Trust me!

Have a healthy diet

During the last few months, I tried my best to cut back on sugary drinks, processed foods, and dairy. And let me tell you, my skin is so happy with me! Hot chocolate will now be hot chocolate with Oat Milk! Yummmm ^-^ (I know it’s still chocolate, but hey, baby steps!) And don’t forget to drink water!

I hope these reminders help! And to achieve your best skin ever, don't forget to pair good lifestyle habits with gentle skincare! Thanks for reading and I’ll see you in the next Tory Time blog!

Love,
Tory ❤
